Art is a thing of beauty, not just an investment.
Owning and living with an original artistic creation is an exciting and extremely personal experience. It expresses your individuality. It says, "When I look at this I see..., I think..., I feel..." Awed by the works of the old masters I was determined to learn to paint. Someone once said to me "If you want something badly enough, you'll find a way to make it happen." They were right. I started in the mid 1970's with Tole lessons and then took a 6 week fine art class. After that, it was simply a matter of reading everything about art that I could get my hands on. It was the beginning of a wonderful adventure into a world of color. I can indulge myself with my subject matter and choose a softer, gentler time. I have found painting to be both fulfilling and joyful. Whether my brush paints a 16 foot wall, a standard canvas or a lovely piece of furniture; an heirloom is a brush stroke away. Thank you for visiting me and letting me share my world with you. I hope you enjoy seeing my work as much as I have enjoyed painting it.
